The duration of the course is one year.Skill training start with sketches of female and male croquie, elements and principles of design in terms of dress. Trainees learn to draw textures and develop motives for various traditional embroideries. They learn how to use the software of coral draw for making designs on fabric and also learn to make samples of sleeve, cuff, collars, pleats, darts and tucks etc. Drape and draw sketches of ladies , gents and kids garments.
After the completion of this course trainees,
Can join industry as craftsman, supervisor, designer and merchandiser etc.
Can become entrepreneur in the related field.
Can join Apprenticeship programme in different types of industries leading to National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).
Can join Crafts Instructor Training Scheme(CITS) in the trade for becoming instructor in ITIs.
Can join Advanced Diploma (Vocational Courses) under DGT as applicable.
